Andrew Hammond has seventeen years experience of managing and motivating staff within the education sector. He regularly delivers CPD training and speaks at educational conferences on a range of subjects, including: motivation, effective communication, character development, creativity, enquiry-based learning, thinking skills and assessment for learning. He holds a BA (Hons) QTS from Bath and an MA in Education from King’s College London.

Andrew has worked as a Headmaster, Deputy Head (Academic), Housemaster, Director of Studies, Head of English and Classteacher. He has worked for the IAPS as English Subject Leader and the ISEB as 13+ CE English Setter.

He has written over forty educational textbooks for various publishers over the years, including Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Harcourt, Hodder, Headline, Rising Stars, Galore Park, Sage Publications and John Catt Educational. He is the author of CRYPT– a horror fiction series for teenagers.

Andrew lives in Suffolk with his wife, Andie, and their four children.
